1. At one point in time i had guppies in cheap plastic tanks, at another i had various fishes in a not-so-cheap tank, at another i had swordfish in a small fountain-pond, and at another i had koi in a fibreglass tank.
Uhh yea. now i just have koi in a pond. i miss the aquarium. sort of.

lol why does everyone pick this..firstly i dont squish ants, i flick them. and uhh mosquitoes..well i 'd rather not get my hands dirty. lol.

lol nava almost got this. the first half of the statement is true, the second...is the result i got for googling 'most recently discovered dinosaur'. lol i think this prevented ppl from getting 5/5. it takes a truly dedicated soul to find this out.
6. Ive cheated someone of money before.
yea well. it was in primary one, and everyday i bought a hot dog bun which cost 50 cents, and my mom would give me 50 cents everyday. so one day somehow there was a 20 cent coin in my bag, and i took it and gave it to the auntie (unknowingly) and she spotted it, and i seriously thought i gave her the 50 cent coin, and i argued with her for abit, then a teacher came and asked, 'are u sure u gave her 50 cents?' so i said ya, and she paid for me. then i went back after recess and found the 50 cent coin in my bag and was like... damn i dont remember wad i said. but i still remember. traumatic.
7. In primary school i always wanted to be a prefect, cos i wanted power, and got angry when i wasnt chosen.
lol i still duno why. was always so close. wasnt selected in p2, but was appointed monitor in p3. then after i changed school, half my class were prefects, but i wasnt, despite being in the better half of the class, academically and in terms of behaviour. this is before i became 'anti-establishment'. still, its quite puzzling. think its because i was too childish.
8. When i was younger i used to fold lots of origami, then use them as toys and start playing with them.
yeah well i never had much to do. and they looked cool. i even had a plot. which consisted mostly of fighting. and fighting. and cool action scenes with paper figures. yay.
9. I've moved house 6 times.
and moved back to the same house twice lol.
10. At one time i wanted to learn to draw, so i borrowed drawing books from the library.
umm yea. no comment. i read fiction too quickly for things to do over the course of the loan.

actually it was only in sec2 lol -.-. before that i had to do stuff like wait till my mom wasnt at home then ask my dad. or swim for time, which was initiated by me/my brother, cant remember. but i think my mom wouldnt have minded, cos one day she came home and saw me playing and din say anything so i assumed i was granted free access.
12. Currently my computer contains more songs by the beatles than any other artiste/group.
lol didnt think i would make it that easy did you. this is true, at least on the morning of posting. i found this old beatles cd, and due to the sad nature of my playlist and mugging being very boring i copied it ><

yeah well theres a teeny mark on my left eyebrow. i remember crying all the way to the hospital and back, before my mom gave up and scolded me and i realized i was crying for no reason lol. at least i think thats wad happened. i was like, six?

right. ok actually i did not do it earlier because i was busy racking my brains for things that will fuddle all of yours. besides its thursday morning, which is hardly suitable for mugging, and i need stuff to blog about, and i need entertainment. anw here goes.

Gravity
wonder whats with the weather. maybe its God. but its all so apt. today all heat was flushed away by the afternoons..torrent. or whatever u want to call it. nearly turned the very air grey, i dare say. the rest of the day was punctuated with light drizzles, a memory of the floods and a melancholic reminder of the cold that still permeated the air. it was vaguely refreshing, a little bit of clarity, i have to say.
no one noticed the thunderstorm during gp/pw. well it didnt bother anyone i guess (apart from js?) cos we were together. it only struck later, when i was alone(as it tends to do). on my refreshing little evening walk home in light rain(yes i wasted that much time just doing one maths assignment). this sort of weather tends to evoke depressing thoughts, no? and strangely poetic ones too. who knows how long the drizzles will stay. but the question is, should they?
either way, tis the time for chocolates and sad songs (dont ask me why, i just feel that way). and gravity drags spirits down, just as it pulls droplets down from the heavens, just as it anchors (almost) everything to the ground.

One night of desolation
Msn's down. o discordia. currently a grand total of 10 contacts are online. everyone else apparently is ignorant of the existence of windows messenger, or thinks it unworthy of their signing in to it, and talking to a possible 10-20 contacts. hello windows msnger rocks k?? behold the simplistic blue and white layout, lack of display pics, personal msges, limited(seriously) emoticons, maximum one file transfer at a time, and most importantly the alert sound (which is really a dull beep). how pleasant to the ears it is. in fact you hardly hear it.
anyway.no superlatives can describe The Importance of Msn. i was introduced to it in sec2 (yea damn late i know) and since then, ive never looked back, faithfully coming online almost every night. for what i dont really know, dont really have many convos, but it simply has to be on. seriously i have to be able to open msn and soak up the aura generated by contacts being online. believe me, its there, its not a figment of my imagination, or the radiation generated by the screen. oh yes, its there alright. as a result i find myself unable to function properly without msn on. cant play dota, and cant do work.
in my opinion, it is most irresponsible of the ppl at msn, who have faithfully kept it running for forever, to let it remain down for more than 5 hrs (yea its been down since 4, and thats only when i got back). they really should spare a thought for the millions of youth around the world, for whom it is a necessity to feel connected, without which they will wither and die. and all the poor j1 students who have to do pw. without msn, how are they to communicate and do their bloody written reports, save through alternative mediums of communication (i am unable to think of any)
hence i find myself blogging, windows messenger being a poor substitute for msn. this is while staring blankly into my lit essay question, unable to do work due to msn not functioning. maybe. or it could be because the question is impossible. this is in addition to the chem tutorial maths tutorial and other stuff which i cannot remember at present, which i have yet to do. but how am i going to stay up late, with no one online, and no msn to properly stay up late, if u get what i mean. oh well. the night isnt that bad though. entertainment for the night was provided by jishun, who has put my jokes to shame with a few of his own. and heres a few, impromptu (ithink)
why couldnt the penguin wear a wig?
its flippers were too short.
why couldnt the turtle scratch its back?
there was a shell there.
how did the sheep end up with a bad haircut? (something like that, i kinda forgot ><)
the farmer thought it wanted to go to a bahhh-ber shop
anyway it is my opinion that msn screwing up is all the fault of the IMF world bank shit. conspiracy theory(i love u baby..) :terrorists, following in the governments footsteps, have decided to try to identify with todays youths (remember the NS video), and resorted to using msn to recruit new suicide bombers. or perhaps they simply found it more efficient than sending out coded letters, seeing how it would be impossible to sift out potentially dangerous exchanges from the millions of other convos going on, making them hard to detect. in any case, the government in a show of paranoia has decided to shut down msn to prevent communication between terrorists intending to sabotage the meeting. damn i think im gonna stage a protest.
anyway, if the post sounded weird, thats obviously the fault of msn as well. see i cant even blog properly without it oO

Nothing accomplished
yet another 'nothing' title. yay. so the one week holiday that never was draws to a close. and i find myself having done nothing the whole week. what i wanted to do was do some tys qns, read some chem notes, file all my stuff, do maths practice qns. however, perhaps due to a lack of concrete goals (note how there are no quantitative values in the list) i obviously did not achieve all that. (see all those motivational, goal setting etc. talks are actually good for something). instead, i have managed to: empty my big box file(leaving all the stuff that was supposed to be filed lying on my table in piles, rendering me unable to do work in my room. and maths assignment (except general maths qns). and read (with little effect) chem notes. the uselessness of that was clearly demonstrated during the organic chem test, which, btw, could be used as a biology case study for erm. hormones. and stuff. or a case study for one of them goal setting talks. you know how they always say set realistic targets. well keeping an entire lt (lt 1 to be precise) full of students quiet for more than 1 hr and 10 minutes (the duration of the test, if i remember correctly) is hardly realistic. not even the hedgehog can do it.
anw. what i have been doing is playing dota, neopets, minesweeper, other random warcraft maps, watching tv and other time-wasting, counter productive activities. actually i havent even finished holiday homework. or done any pw. and the holidays (or sorry excuse for it) are more or less over(such a useless phrase, if its over its over lol). funny how i thought (like everyone else) the week would give all the time i needed to...settle stuff. ouch is all i can say.
on the topic of watching tv i watched groundhog day today. which is seriously a nice show. and infinitely better than vadis pck episode. and in a random coincidence-like thing groundhog days on the 2nd of february. whatever the significance of that(or the day after) may be. lol.

Trouble me not
its scary how i dont feel scared about promos. theres just this vague sense of 'something must be done' cos every one else is chionging like mad cows. btw this phenomemon would not have been witnessed in ri, i think. so the past few days have been completely unproductive. didnt catch shit in maths/econs, came home and wasted time doing stupid stuff (like xherosiege =p). apart sorting all the worksheets in my file by subject half hr ago. now all thats left to do is punch holes, file them, and repeat for the worksheets that were not in my file (the worksheets in my file are something like 2 wks worth of em). currently i cant do maths, not understanding chapters 8 9 10, dont understand nitrogen compounds, have forgotten all the stuff from previous chem lectures, and econs to me is more fictional than lit.yay. thats okay tomorrow shall be a mugging day(i wish). i need to get off the damn comp. its such a distraction that i broke my minesweeper best time again(which i did not think possible). currently its at 130.
and happy birthday again moca(yesterday). i think it felt like everyones birthday lol. arent u glad u didnt follow ur plan to organize ur own birthday *_*. and uhh acknowledgement is due to wr(and jishun. and me. and uhh basically everyone. but primarily wr). damn moca u make me jealous, wr works his ass off just for u =(.

when everythings meant to be broken
lol yay im blogging. cos i dont want this place to die. so after pacing around the room for a while ive decided what to blog about. ill blog about erm. stuff that happened.
so. today. today felt like it all happened yesterday, dont ask me why. went to school went to lunch, came home, played dota.
yesterday. yesterday i dont believe anything happened at all. felt like it never existed. can be summed up in one word (its really an acronym, but how many people actually know that. and how many people actually know what it stands for, and how many of those can do it without making gramatical error, i wonder) and you all know what that word is. okay in case ur not so bright, its DotA. Defend of the Ancient.
thursday. thursday felt so damn long. and wet. such perfect weather for staying home. or some:-Owhere where u dont have to get ur shoes soaked and toes wrinkled. lol okay so there was teachers day celebrations. three cheers for gws indefatigable ego. (duno if thats used correctly, but it seems to fit lol) but i seriously wonder how he does it oO. -ends criticism of gw prematurely-. what a strange character.
oh well the rest of the teachers day celebrations were pretty good i suppose. (though i have to think really hard to recall what they were). the organizer(s) is quite pro. btw why are most of the new teachers gp tutors oO.
and now its time for reminiscing and reflecting (r&r). well in minimal amounts anw. so anw went back ri after that. yea lol sure it was nice to see albar and stuff, but like all other go-back-to-places-where-u-were-seemingly-forever-ago things it never quite felt the same. just a tad awkward. sigh. i suppose after people go their ways theres nothing much to talk about anymore. lol i miss 4i. but some things are better left as memories. i guess.
'Literature, gentlemen, is the only true humanity' (i forgot the rest so ill leave it as an impactful one-liner lol)
other interesting incidents of note include ycm holing herself up in her hod room, hiding behind the blinds, refusing to acknowledge knocks on her window. until of course some brave souls ventured into the room (through the door). and err joylim holing herself up in the staff room. i have no idea why. according to her its cos we're all dressed in pe so 'very stinky' but who believes that lol. and huang yuting remembers me, her most dilligent physics rep. (though i forgot i was physics rep until she reminded me). actually she remembers my contents page (i cant rly remember that, i may or may not have done one for the class..)
and thats it for my last few days.
on another note, happy birthday moca. (my clock reads 1159 so i guess its still valid)
