Confessions

i shall attempt creative writing. nothing (that) important of course.

Confession #1: I am a pampered boy.
so imagine my discontentment when my dad asked me to go renew my passport myself *shock*. apparently now that im 17 i have to be there for them to do it. lol i wasnt even aware that my dad had tried bringing it for renewal. my dad said to go safra tampines but my 1st choice venue for renewal :ICA building. its big. and fully airconditioned. and felt er. official. however, due to the refusal of my brain to process information properly this afternoon i neglected the line on the website(yes i checked the website) that said it closes at 5. besides it seems absurd that such an important building should close at such an unreasonable hour. yes. drawn by the promise of dota, which was made more tempting by days of deprivation and sim city wars oO, the quest for passport renewal was temporarily abandoned. ( im starting to sound like phang i think). anw by the time i finished it was 530, and i was reminded by beedict n xr that ICA was closed. lol. so i had no choice but to go for my second best option: the exit permit office (or something like that) at safra tampines. i apologize for the long-windedness. In conclusion, i went to safra tampines to renew my passport. btw the office there is a lousy excuse for one lol. i walked round the entire first floor before finding a sign that said exit permit office. it was above the sign that said Toilets. and they both pointed downwards. i was on the first floor and they dont have underground carparks. in any case, the office was nothing more than a room with fading white paint, a queue system-thingie, tables (2 tables to be precise), chairs, a computer and a woman at the desk.

Confession #2: independence of opinion is non-existent in me
hence as i visited the library the other day, having no idea what to borrow i went to look for a steinback book. under the section STE the only steinback book there was of mice and men. then i go: hmm. okay. jishun mentioned the other day he finished reading it. and. (thunder lightning and drumroll plz) Weiren had read it before. for the uninformed the end part was used as text for ri lit ct2 last yr. so must be pretty good. and i ended up marvelling at how i failed quite badly at interpreting it last yr. lol. anw. my point. it is pretty good. and doesnt take up much time cos its only 100+ rly small pages. so go read it! and dont cry =/

Confession #3: im going crazy
they say if for long periods of time the only voices u hear are those in your head you go crazy. or maybe i did lol. cant rmbr. long story. so here goes.
Tonight is yet another quiet night. for me anw. maybe its because after 2nd reinstallation of windows my comp is incapable of producing sound. apart from the irritating beeping noise it makes in place of the various alerts that come on if ur computer can actually detect your speakers/if ur sound card is working. i think that was the problem with my comp before. try staring at the screen for 2 hrs straight, the only sound being the irritating hum of the computer fan. and dota sucks without sound.

lol i just remembered/realized the other day my blog name is also a pun! or something like it. i believe/would like to think that was intended. dont really rmbr, it was 2 yrs ago. if it wasnt, i am truly impressed by my own unintended genius.
