Econs is dreary stuff

so ill blog for the sake of it. besides wouldnt want to break my 1-update-a-day streak. but i have nothing to blog about. so ill jus quote stuff again. well just 1 passage. i forgot to include it in the assorted quotes thingie.

anw its from The Operator (some movie channel 5 screened like 2 wks ago). and this pastor was telling a story (course its not as....creative as mine). cant rmbr the exact thing so ill improvise oO.

theres this guy whos a really faithful christian. so one day a flash flood occurs in the town hes living in. and he gets swept away by the water. luckily he manages to grab a branch of a nearby tree. and he climbs up the limb. however the water level is rising. so hes stranded on the tree. anw he hangs there for a while, and a group of ppl in a rescue raft approach him, asking him to get on board. but he says "i have faith in God, and He will save me" and refuses to get on, believing God will find a way out for him. the water level keeps rising, and hes forced higher and higher up the tree. so after a while a coast guard boat arrives. and they ask him to get on. but again he refuses, saying "u can leave me here, God will save me". and the water level keeps rising, till hes forced to the very top of the tree. now a rescue helicopter arrives, and offers him rescue. again he says " God is capable of miracles, and he will find a way for me as long as i have faith" and refuses. anw in the end the water just kept rising and the guy drowned. and he went to heaven, and asked God why he didn't save him.

anw the moral of the story: sometimes God works in not-so-mysterious ways.
